Awww I love this so much! I was a slow reader suffered from dyslexia and had to read the same paragraph 3 or 4 times for it to make sense. I had a teacher like Melissa that took some extra time with me and we bonded over music as well. I love reading and grew up to love writing!

When we see Melissa signature as kid and she gives the book to her….

This is personal for me. I know in 3rd grade I had trouble reading (til college I did have dyslexia). So some kids would get pulled out of class to read a book. There are educators out there that want to help and will not put your child down. Please listen and work together.

I came to see if everyone else felt this way about this scene as I did. I was actually the opposite growing up. I was a strong reader and loved books. Seeing a teacher gently and lovingly encourage her student not to give up and give her the love of reading literally made me cry.
