The whole Caladan section of Dune pt 1 is some of the tightest filmmaking I've ever seen. I personally would have cut the dialogue between Paul and Jessica in the mist right after the Reverend Mother leaves as well, but everything else is just perfect.

I constantly do the low growl of the ships when listening to the official version, it is so musically edited in I LOVE Dune so much

I really feel like part 2 lost the majesty of the Dune universe. Denis was so good at depicting the size and weight of everything, and all that was never really given the same space to breathe the way it did in part 1
