Yeah no this really did happen but failed like 99% of the time because the dogs rwcongnized the tanks they trained on which was there own not the German ones which have a different design, so they basically trained dogs to blow up their own tanks.

Fun fact this isn’t what happened irl, during ww2 when the Soviets did this they used their own tanks so when battle came the dogs ran BACK to blow up their own vehicles

This idea was later abandoned cause the dogs ran into their own tanks, its the model they were trained to do, so it backfired at the soviets.
