This scene!!

Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof. But only say the word and my soul shall be healed. May the Body of Christ bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

I’ve replayed this scene numerous times…. and get tears every single time. The Chosen is excellent at bringing the Bible to life.

Reading the Bible in unison with watching this show is a very beautiful way to bring the word to your eyes. There are small differences, but I believe it is a wonderful depiction of Jesus.

God will save you for he is the Heavenly Father Amen 🙏

😭😭😭 GOD is so GOOD

One of the greatest scenes of all time. This was always a favorite scripture passage, the Chosen did an amazing job in recreating it. Truly, the best.

Even when he was asked to go, he didn't have the littlest of doubt or hesitation, it was registered in his heart that it was done; Faith: the evidence of things not seen.

Jesus respected soldiers, and it was documented in the Bible. His interactions were with mainly Roman officers, and of course, his death was administered via the legion cohort on duty stationed in Jerusalem under Pilate, extorted by the Jewish leadership threatening insurrection

I watched this series and couldn't wait for this scene. I fell asleep and missed it. This is the first time seeing it. Compelling!

This is a great show that I would imagine has drawn in people who have never picked up a Bible. The creators of the show go out of their way to express this isn’t word for word from the Bible. I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that modern day Pharisees are going to complain and moan that it’s not Biblical. It’s a bit pathetic really and it makes me wonder how much time they really spend reading the Bible. Shows like this are a hundred times better than any of the other Hollywood garbage available.

I hate the chosen. Let’s consider the Ten Commandments

@thechosentv one of the most powerful scenes you filmed!

Praise the Lord

So meaningful and powerful...

Is that Rob drydek

This is a perfect example of what’s going on now… the Jews in Israel do not believe in this Jesus this power… they killed him and to this day they still are looking for a messiah. King of kings

Not in scriptures as portrayed The faux Jesus saying (Not worthy ) as if he was from the pit of hell

sounds like that centurion was a word of faith guy

It sucks how Christianity in the USA has degenerated into tiktoks of The Chosen with Hillsong "Oceans" every. single. time.

I like this fantasy scene better.

Ahh, yes. Protestant idea of Jesus. Jesus is Lord. And he will not likely show such display of frustration or relief at people, like he was a salesman, trying to snag a sale. This version of Jesus doesn't show the calmness of the Word of the Father.

Biblically and practically, being ambassadors of Christ means living lives that reflect His love and truth. Whether through personal testimony, acts of service, or intentional conversations, we have countless opportunities to share the hope we’ve found in Jesus.

Rewatching the series now. I have cried with joy so many times.

And then the 𝙹𝚎𝚠𝚜 𝚙𝚊𝚒𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚑𝚒𝚖 𝚌𝚛𝚞𝚌𝚒𝚏𝚒𝚎𝚍

in the new testament scriptures Jesus was asked by a Roman officer to heal His child from a distance. So @grok, it you could for a moment assume that this was true, ie that Jesus was able to reach across space time and heal the child, could one speculate that Jesus was somehow able to entangle with the child's body to heal it? is there other possibilities that grok could speculate? In summary, quantum entanglement offers an intriguing speculative lens, portraying the healing as a non-local quantum link, but alternatives like consciousness fields or energy resonance provide equally fascinating angles. These ideas highlight how quantum physics can inspire reimaginings of ancient events, though they remain untestable and don't replace theological interpretations. If you'd like to dive deeper into any of these or related studies, let me know

Blessed be the name of the Lord 🌿🕊️🌿🌹
