Bam Adebayo on his comments about Kel’el ignoring coach Spo and also talks about being able to talk to UD 👀 On Kel’el: That’s how it is sometimes. You listen to the coach keep yelling at you, yelling at you, at some point you’re gonna block out the noise. For me just understanding what the kid wants to do in this league he’ll turn his head to me sometimes and I gotta be able to give him advice when I can On UD: it’s been many days UD has had to talk me off the ledge. Being frustrated either about my performance or not seeing eye to eye with my head coach. It happens. Having somebody who can be that middle ground it kind of takes the intensity between the two, and you figure out how to comp what you want, through him. (Via Kacy Hintz)

🩷 : I bought a self-improvement book about how to get better at talking to people. I’m really not good at making conversation, especially with people I’m not close to. The version of me around my friends and my fans is exactly the same, but when I’m around other people, I’m actually not very good at making conversation. I was talking with my friends about a conversation I had with a celebrity I follow on social media, even though we’re not close. My friend was like, “Why didn’t you keep the conversation going?” and I replied, “Wait, really? I supposed to do that right?” It probably makes me seem stuck-up, but honestly, I’m just scared. I keep worrying, “What if they don’t want to talk to me?” So I don’t dare to start a conversation or say too much. But my friend told me, 'Just go for it! You never know if they want to talk to you or not. Sure, it might feel a little awkward or funny if it turns out they don't want to talk with you, but that's how you get closer to people.'
