It was very self aware of that older sister. She still had lots of trauma to process and her own shame and guilt over wasting 20 years on that rapist.

Yeah. It was hard to see the one sister (who was also in the same cult) not understand what her sibling was going through. Sometimes when you're in the deepest pit, just showing up when you don't feel right isn't even enough to those that don't live your life.

Sometimes the actions are more important than the words. Even with that chasm that's between them right now, they both hung in there, trying to understand.
