Fredo has always been the weak Corleone. Sonny had the temper, Michael the calculation, Tom the ledgers. Fredo got nightclubs, errands, a car to drive — work you could hand him without risk. He was managed, not trusted. So when he says "I'm smart," his voice cracks, because he already knows nobody in that room is buying it. That's what makes Cazale hard to watch. Fredo aims for anger and lands on fear. He straightens up and the chair swallows him anyway. Every gesture meant to make him bigger takes something off him. Michael doesn't rage back. Rage would have been warmer. He lets Fredo finish, and the second Fredo says something useful he stops being a brother and becomes a source — Michael goes straight to the investigation. Not the lake. Not the gunshot. This is where it ends. Fredo is asking to finally be seen. Michael stopped looking a long time ago. Which is why "You're nothing to me now" doesn't need volume. It isn't shouted. MICHAEL MOVIE 🍿 First off , Michael Jackson should not be dead 🙄 it makes me so mad every time I think about it . In my opinion , I feel like all the lawsuits & people not wanting to be involved , ruined what could’ve been one of the best Michael movies because the ACTORS ate down & all of the music performances gave me chills , but the story was moving so FAST and so much was cut out , that we couldn’t even get into depth of what really happened but overall i STILL enjoyed it and recommend it if you are a fan of Michael . After the nose surgery , Jafaar Jackson looked just like Michael , it was scary how identical it was. All of the performances reenacted were flawless . Colman Domingo ate as Joe Jackson & he had me mad talking about Michael “big nose” but he had the same mf nose . As important as he was to the Jackson 5’s success, he also was responsible for their insecurities and trauma 🙄 Juliano was really good as young Michael too. It was very believable .
