I’m sorry, what was so great about it? Jumping into a Balrog? Why? This made no sense at all.

Oh, Durin daddy. I knew you could do it. I was sat in the theatre, tears rolling down my face. Best. Intro. Ever.

The two trees and Durin going Air Jordan on the Balrog are the 2 best shots of the show.

It’s worth the $1 billion Amazon paid just for this scene alone.

It was an amazing way to start the finale. And yet I've heard the usual suspects moaning about it. "Why would he take the ring off?" "Why would he not just run away?" "Why is Durin's Bane awake 1000 years early?" Blah blah blah blah. I feel sorry for people with brains like that

Now imagine the scene if the Balrog didn't swat Durin out of the air. Would have just been him jumping to his death like an idiot 😂

I've seen this comment from a dozen people and I will continue liking it every time
