Twelve years ago, Detective Walter Sweeney was driving home to his one-year-old daughter when a call came over the radio: a child had fallen into a backyard pool. He detoured to the address, jumped the fence, ignored the barking dogs, and dove in. The boy, Matthew, was already lifeless and blue. Walter performed CPR and brought him back. Today, Lieutenant Walter Sweeney was being promoted when 12-year-old Matthew and his family arrived to celebrate. They had come to thank the man who saved his life—and to offer a heartfelt gift. A true act of service and humanity.

Quan, an 18-year old who received a heart transplant last year (after doctors discovered an underlying unknown heart condition while they were treating Quan from a stroke) had one wish! We were honored to take part in his wish reveal so he could meet the person who gave him strength and courage throughout his medical journey Russell Wilson. Can’t wait for Quan to meet Russ and the Denver Broncos this fall. Thank you Russ and Fanatics’ incredible partner Make-A-Wish America for making this happen !
