@KirkHerbstreit I wonder if the FBI is snooping. This guy definitely was a part of some sketchy games.

@KirkHerbstreit It might lead to an FBI investigation into betting.

@KirkHerbstreit I watch the SEC and for years the officiating errors somehow favor top teams.... but this year it's just been horrendous. Too many calls that even the announcers question have occurred. Many are momentum changers.

@KirkHerbstreit Ref has the worst timing in history to be caught doing that 😂

@KirkHerbstreit Gambling is so much bigger now and someone wonders about ref calls? Come on now. We all either know it or feel it at some level.

@KirkHerbstreit This has been long over due a lot of these officials are corrupt, college football officiating is at an all-time low and they cant even get it right under video review.

@KirkHerbstreit Many of the calls in the Auburn/Georgia game were decided by the SEC review. Who else needs to be suspended?

@KirkHerbstreit The SEC is one of the most corrupt conference of all-time

@KirkHerbstreit SEC had to seperate from "their" equalizer because of being called out as manipulating games and spreads. BTW check out last play of the TN/AL game......no replay??

@KirkHerbstreit The timing of this isn’t a coincidence…the same week the FBI bust NBA players for gambling…more to this than we know I bet!!

@KirkHerbstreit 1 Gambling connections ? 2 Bought off by UGA? Those refs sure seemed buddy buddy with Kirby that night, like they were asking him what to call next He wouldn’t be suspended indefinitely for just making a few bad calls. Something big is up.

@KirkHerbstreit Need to start looking at the ACC refs too! They are shady! @ACCFootball @theACC

@KirkHerbstreit Why did review team not get the calls right?! The fumble at goal line, for example, was reviewed and still botched. Why were they not also suspended?

@KirkHerbstreit Watching SEC games you have to wonder about calls much respect to announcers playing the call in slow motion and then saying he must have thought it was holding or I just don't see it ..maybe FBI should investigate these clowns...

@KirkHerbstreit Why is the SEC office in Birmingham not investigated? They were responsible for upholding many of these suspicious penalties in multiple games this year. UGA/Auburn, Aub/OU, etc. ACC airs live game feeds in their replay office durong games, why cant SEC do the same? Ridiculous

@KirkHerbstreit Not ground breaking at all. The SEC has done this before. They simply don’t comment on it. Just look at Jeff Batts and Marc Curles.

@KirkHerbstreit Still the only outlet reporting this and please tell me what a “permanent suspension” equates to? This is about like the ones where Kirby was gonna stop the game and pray for Charlie Kirk as far as I’m concerned until I see it reported by a reputable source.

@KirkHerbstreit Has any other news agency (ahem, ESPN) verified this story? The whole thing, inc McCauley’s defense of Williamson, is based off 1 story from a local web news site. Surely if a referee is being “permanently suspended” from 1 of 2 conferences, someone could independently verify

@KirkHerbstreit I guarantee you there’s more to all this than this suspension. Isn’t it funny how @GregSankey and the @SEC won’t comment on personal matters all while they control “public” universities athletics? You damn right they’re actively trying to cover this up as quietly as possible.

@KirkHerbstreit For those who think this referring to the goalie fumble… that play was reviewed. You don’t see the suspending the refs at HQ.

@KirkHerbstreit Fans being “too emotional” is the only reason Herbstreit and everyone else involved with these games are able to make ridiculously absurd amounts of money. Does he think he provides some sort of essential service to society? Missed calls and “screw the fans” mentality is idiotic.

@KirkHerbstreit Maybe the fans calling out the NFL isnt a bad thing huh? This SEC official thing happens. The NBA thing. NFL replay fucking with things. Coincidence? I dont think so. The mask is slipping and slipping fast.
