This seems as relevant now as it did back in 2014. Mr Galloway/Mr Farage might not be everyone's cup of tea, but they believe in free speech, as do all of us who believe it to be the cornerstone of democracy. George Galloway Nigel Farage MP

@georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage I do not agree with George on everything but he is one of the best last remaining politicians.

@georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage I think he's one of the few who stood up for Farage and his right to speak and debate. He went up hugely in my opinion back then, and he's remained a huge defender of the right to free speech.

"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

@georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage This whole episode is still on YouTube. I watched it a few years back and it was plain nearly a decade on that Scottish politics under the SNP and their Neverendum had completely stagnated. Same runners and riders and the same tired arguments. George is a voice of sanity here.

@Nigel_Farage I believe in free speech for all my opponents. I am against political violence and suppression of my opponents. Not just some of them and not just sometimes. This is the only way to democracy.

@georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage They accuse right leaning parties of being fascists , when they are precisely the ones trying to curb free speech

@Danjsalt @georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage I was much more left wing then but I remember cheering Galloway for saying this.

@georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage In full flow, one of the best orators in politics. You don't need to agree with him to appreciate what he is saying and how he is saying it.

@georgegalloway @Nigel_Farage Every word George said about Nigel Farage was true then and it is true now. And his prediction regarding what the SNP would do to Scotland has proved to be totally on the money. Scotland is gubbed under these charlatans, yet people vote for them still. Beats me too.

“Again, the title on your screens, you can see it there, 7th of July. We read twice for you that Farage’s spokesperson has said that Mr Nigel Farage had already told the relevant people in Parliament about both his donation from Harbourne and also his donation from Cottrell, and those people responsible in parliament for investigating parliamentary standards advised Farage he did not have to register those relationships in the parliamentary standards register. and that’s according to the Telegraph today, that Farage was advised ‘that they did not need to be reported’. Now that particular piece of information is highly highly relevant, because it’s a very specific rebuttal by Nigel. He is stating that he had already told the relevant people in parliament of these two donations and that they’d advised him that he did not need to report them. If that’s a lie, it’s very easy to catch Nigel Farage out in that lie because of course there will be those people in parliament will be able to say ‘we weren’t told, there’s no record of Nigel Farage telling us.’ But Farage claiming that he had indeed told them is a very specific thing to be lying about, because it’s very easy to disprove. So for Farage to make that claim in our view indicates that he did indeed tell the relevant people in parliament about the relationship he had with Christopher Harbourne and Posh George, or George Cottrell, otherwise he’d be very easily caught out lying.” Maajid Nawaz for WARRIOR CREED
