The only downside is, it's not a watch that you can just pick, wear and leave. Has power reserve for a little over 24 hours so needs winding.

Generally, how many hours can an automatic watch store energy?

Depends. Within Seiko itself it may range between 24-40 hours. Mine's 24... Some costlier ones are 40 and even more.
