Brock Purdy on his favorite play in his career: “It was the game before the NFCCG against the Packers. We didn’t play the best on offense, but we needed this drive at the end of the game to go up. It was a 3rd down play and it was Brandon Aiyuk over the middle. We call it Gucci. It was a 6 step slant, cross the nickel’s face. It was man to man coverage, and it was on time. I threw it on plant, BA turned at the right time. It was tight coverage. DB reached across. We got the ball there and it was a diving catch. I was like 'Bro', boom we get the first down. We’re staying on the field. From there we won the game. We won the NFC Championship game after that. We got to the Super Bowl, but it was that play. If that play didn’t happen, getting to the NFCCG and the Super Bowl wouldn’t have happened… Those are the things I remember. I love that stuff. I live for it.” 🎥: Richard Sherman

He's nothing if not a very, very interesting man. He's very powerful, and it's an honor to get to play in front of him. Hugely grateful to him and his family and his organization that has these beautiful properties and allows us to come and play great golf tournaments on them. "This is a special place and great championship golf course, I'm thankful to have it back in the schedule."

COACHES: This clip should be a staple in all of our video libraries to show our players on one of the most important skills in hockey - recognizing where pressure is coming from when we get the puck. This is such a big time play from Carter Verhaeghe along the wall. He recognizes the pressure from the Carolina defender coming along his right shoulder, and shields the puck with his body while spinning off to protect and get possession. I can't emphasize enough how big of a play this was. If we can put our players in more scenarios in practice where they have to shoulder check, recognize pressure, protect the puck and make a play, it would be a huge add for our player development. The higher the level, the faster defenders close and the quicker you have to make plays. Understanding how to see where the pressure is from and learning how to make the play under that pressure helps players develop the hockey sense needed to play at those levels. Awesome, awesome job here from Verhaeghe and a great clip to show your teams.

Patrick Surtain is the best CB in the NFL and AJ Brown beat him in the 1st half. But then the Broncos went to a lot more zone coverage and Brown was blanked (except for 1 more slant against man coverage). Players beat man and scheme beats zone. The Eagles have the players. They don't have the scheme. Again, I have no idea why any team would play any defensive snap that wasn't a 4-man rush with zone coverage behind until the Eagles figure out how to beat it.
