A lot of missed potential frankly, but Lauren Faust before she left has stated she didn't want the main characters to exactly be in a "fall in love" type of situations. However, with Flash Sentry, not only was it two different Flashes, but fans also hated the "Brad" stereotype.

I know Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight to fly made the most sense. But am I the only one who sees the missed opportunity in having Twilight needing to learn how to fly and now a pegasus love interest showed up. Call me crazy, but couldn't a little something have been done there?
