What's even crazier about this is that Donald O'Connor was smoking multiple packs of cigarettes A DAY and still nailing all these moves

some of the physical things they do in this movie actually left me speechless. i cant imagine how many takes it tooks

I miss how artists used to take show business seriously like this. They were so sharp!
