Today, December 6, marks the anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid. As a child, whenever the issue came up, I used to wonder why we needed either a temple or a mosque at that spot at all—one large school and one large hospital would have been far more useful for father, a typical Leftist, always dismissed it as political drama manufactured by the Congress party. My mother, firmly on the Right, insisted there was nothing wrong in reclaiming the site for a temple and that a mosque could easily be built elsewhere, outside the sacred precinct or even outside the city. But once I began reading the actual history—how a temple marking the birthplace of Lord Ram had been destroyed in the very city of his birth, and a new structure raised over it—something shifted inside me. I tried to imagine the same thing happening to the holiest sites of another faith: the shrine of Imam Ali razed, Karbala desecrated, or a new building erected over the ruins of Mecca. The anger and grief would be overwhelming. For Hindus, the pain of what happened in Ayodhya runs even deeper.Hindus have every right to a grand, magnificent Shri Ram Mandir at that janmabhoomi—just as the faithful of every religion cherish and protect their most sacred places, whether Karbala, Mecca, Jerusalem, Amritsar, or on this December 6, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to every Hindu for the restoration of the Bhavya Ram Mandir, for reclaiming and reviving what was unjustly taken centuries ago. Jai Siya Ram. Maula Ali Madad

RAM MANDIR DONATION SCAM: THOSE THAT ASKED FOR YOUR DEVOTION HAVE ENDED UP BETRAYING IT. The consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir wasn’t just a religious homage to Ram Lalla but an oblation to Bharat’s civilizational heritage. It was a tribute to those devout Hindus who refused to let the light of Hinduism be snuffed out. For many Hindus, a millennium of Islamic conquests and later Christian missionary expansion threatened to eviscerate traces of Bharat’s Hindu civilization. Prominent places of worship and centres of academic and cultural excellence were targeted or fell into decline. Many also believe the marginalisation continued even after India won her freedom. This time, Bharat’s civilizational identity was scorned by a Lutyens elite who often mislabelled any move to reclaim, restore or even appreciate Bharat’s Hindu heritage as a communal activity. Had devout Hindus not banded together under the banner of groups such as the Vishwa Hindu Parishad or the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, many believe Bharat’s Hindu heritage would have been disfigured beyond recognition. Over the years the VHP silently mobilised crores of Hindus to reclaim what they regard as the Ram Janmabhoomi, culminating in the Supreme Court judgment that cleared the way for the construction of the Ram Temple at Ayodhya. But today, six years after the first silver bricks were cemented into the foundation, the self-styled guardians of the Ram Temple from among the ranks of the VHP stand accused of betraying Ram Lalla. The resignation of VHP senior leader and Ram Mandir Temple Trust Chief Champat Rai, a day after eight other lower-ranking Trust officials were booked for alleged theft, is a stinging indictment. Whether these allegations are ultimately proved in court remains to be seen. But they have already jolted devotees who travelled from far and wide and donated, in some cases, their precious savings in homage to their beloved deity. The alleged betrayal has several implications. It hands the Congress-Left ecosystem and those opposed to Hindutva an opportunity to portray mobilisation around the Hindu faith as an exercise in profiteering. Second, it diminishes the moral authority of organisations like the VHP and the RSS when they seek to champion the interests of the Hindu faith. After all those who ask for devotion can’t then afford to betray those who respond to the call.

Statement Issued by Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh: New Delhi, 3 July 2026 The magnificent temple built on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi has become a center of reverence, faith, and devotion for the entire Hindu society due to the struggles of generations and the dedication, sacrifice, and martyrdom of crores of Ram devotees. The unfortunate incident of theft from the donation boxes placed in the Shri Ram Lalla Temple in Ayodhya has wounded the sentiments and reverence of the entire society and Ram devotees, and we are all hurt by this event. At the earnest request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the Uttar Pradesh government has constituted a Special Investigation Team and initiated legal proceedings based on its recommendations. It is essential to ensure that whoever is found guilty in the investigation receives strict punishment. The Trust can naturally expect from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, along with the entire Hindu society, that this highly condemnable incident be treated as exceptional and that effective steps be taken with utmost seriousness to address all deficiencies in the arrangements and operations, so that the faith and reverence of crores of Ram devotees in the Ayodhya temple remains unbroken and unwavering. The current confusion and uncertainty must end. From this perspective, our expectation is that all necessary initiatives will be taken by the temple management and the special investigation team constituted by the administration. We are confident that through proper financial management, seamless operations with innocent transparent systems, and an atmosphere imbued with purity, sanctity, and profound religiosity, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will continue to strengthen the faith and trust of Hindu society. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh also appeals to the entire Hindu society to demonstrate necessary patience and restraint in this difficult moment and to foil the conspiracies of anti-Hindu, anti-national forces who seek to exploit this unfortunate incident to malign Hindu dharma and society.

SFJ Vows: BABRI MASJID WILL BE REBUILT AT RAM MANDIR — Rs. 11 Lakh To OPPOSE Modi In Ayodhya Secessionist group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has declared that Babri Masjid will be rebuilt at the exact site where Ram Mandir stands today, calling Modi’s Ayodhya ceremony “the birthplace of Hindutva terrorism.” Ahead of Modi’s plan to raise the Hindutva flag at the Ram Mandir, SFJ has called upon Muslims across Hindustan to “SIEZE Ayodhya” on 25 November by forming a massive Human Chain, stating: “If Muslims have to survive in Hindustan, they must be ready to defend their faith and history.” Announcing Rs. 11 Lakh to oppose Modi’s Ayodhya spectacle, SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun declared: “Once Punjab is liberated to form Khalistan, Babri Masjid will be rebuilt at the very site where Ram Mandir stands today. History cannot be rewritten by bulldozers or by Hindutva mobs.” Pannun called Ram Mandir: “A disputed political monument born from the destruction of Babri Masjid under the ideological terrorism of BJP–RSS.” Pannun announced that Khalistan Flags will be displayed across Uttar Pradesh to expose globally how: “Modi turned the demolition of a centuries-old mosque into a national spectacle and a political festival.” SFJ asserted that Ayodhya remains the most explosive unresolved injustice in India, warning that no amount of propaganda, temple construction, or political theatre can erase the reality that Babri Masjid was violently and illegally demolished — and that this injustice remains historically reversible.
