And there's going to be massive shifts in many of your lives and a sudden turn. And the Lord is going to realign. And this is going to be quick when He does it. Realign you into the position, redirect you and put you on that course because time is short and He needs you operating in what you were created to do. He needs that right now. And many of you are going to enter that process in this season. So praise the Lord because you are. You will enter that process and you will be redirected. And you will do what is written about you in the books of heaven, what you were created to do on this earth. Because many of you know and feel uncomfortable and know you're not in your call. You know you are just trying to try to endure, you're trying to survive. And it's because you're not in your call. Surrender to God, allow Him to redirect you into your call and your purpose that you were beautifully created to do. Because it's needed in this season and we cannot dilly dally anymore and go dabbling in things we are not created to do. It's time for us to go to work and it's time for us to be willing to go there.

The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. There are 2 categories of things in this world: 1) Things that are up to you 2) Things that are not up to you Which category does your reputation sit in? Your reputation is not up to you. I'm the one who associates your reputation with something, not you. You just do things. What's up to you? How you act. Your decisions. Your actions. That is up to you. Your reputation is not up to you. Here's how I know that: You all have a reputation about me and it's not in my control. I get to say and do whatever I say and do up here. I am in control of saying it. I am in control of doing it. The moment words leave my lips, who has control over what is done with those words? You! You are in control of what you think of me. This is a long tweet - but its worth a read - Reform UK’s Dr David Bull talking about family and whether parents should stay at home to look after their children: “You want to support marriage through the tax system and make it easier for parents to stay at home to look after their children - what's the reason behind that?” Dr David Bull: We believe that children do better in stable relationships across the board. And actually we need to encourage that. In marriage you think? Dr Bull: In marriage, and that marriage is an important bond, isn't it? Because I think what children desperately need is someone at home, and they need someone to be there and support them during that education. So we think that's a cornerstone, actually. And one of the things that I find really strange and very difficult to understand is the disconnect that children now have, because when you come home, you want to be able to offload what's been going on at school, and you need someone at home to be able to do that. And if we can incentivise that through tax breaks that has to be a good thing. Do you think if you're a child with two working parents, that's not a great upbringing for you? Dr Bull: No… Of course, it's incredibly difficult. And parents have to work because of the cost of living. But actually, the ideal would be to have a parent that is there available when children need them. You say in the manifesto that the majority of mothers would choose to stay at home more if they could. What's the research on that? Dr Bull: So we polled extensively, actually. But I think if you talk to any mother, of course, they want to spend time with their children. They want to see them grow and develop. And if you're spending all your time at work and you don't have enough time with your kids, I think that's a travesty. You think it's a travesty? Dr Bull: yes And do you think it damages the children as well? Dr Bull: I think emotionally, children need support as they grow and develop. There are lots of questions they have. You have to look at why children are now so obsessed with social media, and certainly from the point of view of having nephews and nieces that are being told all sorts of stuff on social media that needs correcting immediately. One of the biggest things we've seen is the rise of anorexia and bulimia in young women and in young boys as well. And what - do you think that might be because you don't have parents at home? The vast majomajority of Black men in America held down Vice President Harris. Now I know any time I defend Black men it’s going to create friction because some people want to highlight everything they don’t like about Black men. I think there are Black men pleading with Democrats to stop diminishing the role of Black men. There are Black men saying we have specific policies we want to see. There are Black men saying before we give support we want conversation. When those men are ignored, some of them choose to rebel. You can ignore what I’m saying, but I’m a man who talks to brothers every day. If we are going to build a path forward, it’s going to be rooted in Black people men and women having equitable footing. That’s how we collectively improve our quality of life. There are men who struggle with women in leadership, but the vast majority of Black men showed twice now that we don’t. We simply don’t want to be diminished while we do it. The majority of Black men will always stand with Black women, the same way Black women have always stood with us. The more we highlight that, the stronger it becomes. They want to divide us, and the more we feed that, the more it works. Numbers don’t lie, most Black men know what is at stake and act accordingly.

They passed new legislation that they're going after people” “That's not gonna happen anymore. Not the city of Philadelphia. You're gonna get prosecuted, and it's gonna be a felony. It ain't gonna be on misdemeanor.” Interviewer “Can you say something to the youth, please, about all this morning?” Officer “Well, all I have to say to the youth is put down the gun because if you come here with a gun, the chances are you're not gonna make it home. I hate to say it like that, but we have to keep it real. This is killing us. I've never seen it like this before where young people shoot up a bus depot station, 40 rounds, and shoot innocent people. Something must be done. I say this to the parents. Go in your children's room, tear it apart and find that gun. Because when they kill somebody, that's on you. You can't say, well, my child ain't you know what your children are doing. It is your job. That's your house. You own it. You are the commander in that chief in that house. Go to your children's house your room and look for these weapons. Stop it before it's too late. Either you're burying your child or you're going up to prison every month, visiting your child. It takes a community to stop this. It's not just on the police department. That's why we are out there. But it's not all about locking people up. You have to educate these people. You have to educate these young people. Guns is not the way. But there's a group of them that believe in robbing and stealing and killing. And those are the ones we have to capture and put away.“

It ain't gonna be on misdemeanor.” Interviewer “Can you say something to the youth, please, about all this morning?” Officer “Well, all I have to say to the youth is put down the gun because if you come here with a gun, the chances are you're not gonna make it home. I hate to say it like that, but we have to keep it real. This is killing us. I've never seen it like this before where young people shoot up a bus depot station, 40 rounds, and shoot innocent people. Something must be done. I say this to the parents. Go in your children's room, tear it apart and find that gun. Because when they kill somebody, that's on you. You can't say, well, my child ain't you know what your children are doing. It is your job. That's your house. You own it. You are the commander in that chief in that house. Go to your children's house your room and look for these weapons. Stop it before it's too late. Either you're burying your child or you're going up to prison every month, visiting your child. It takes a community to stop this. It's not just on the police department. That's why we are out there. But it's not all about locking people up. You have to educate these people. You have to educate these young people. Guns is not the way. But there's a group of them that believe in robbing and stealing and killing. And those are the ones we have to capture and put away.“

I love this idea from Jason Fried "Your only competition is your costs." Keep costs low, keep the team small, make stuff you want to use. You don't need the whole world: “A business is very simple. You got to make more than you spend. If you're making more than you spend, then your competition is your cost. That's what you're really in business against, how much it costs you to stay in business. It's not all the other alternatives that are on the market. You can't control what they're going to put out there, what they're going to price it at, all the things they're going to do. They're going to do what they're going to do. What I can control is how much it costs me to run my business, how much I sell my product for, and as long as I make more than I spend, I get to stay in business. And isn't that what this is all about, staying in business? That's what it's all about because I like this. I want to keep doing this. I can't keep doing it if I don't stay in business. I can't keep doing it if I make less than it costs me to make the things that I make. So I'm always thinking about the only competition I really have on an annual basis is to make sure that we make more as a company than it costs us to run the company. That's my real competition.”
