She herself did the “question inflection” when she says “sudden drop in volume?”

As an Australian I call bullshit.

He shoke his head no at her question when he says “all the time”

I'd like to see her interpret body language and the speech patterns of Australians. I think that's where her pseudoscience would fall apart.

So all Australians are sus

Listen to Ilan Omar speak. Every word out of her mouth is a lie.

These tips are interesting, but question inflection or 'uptalk' isn’t always a lie. Ex-Senator Gerard Rennick @RennickGBR from Australia uses rising intonation constantly - it’s his normal speaking style and very common in Aussie accents. He served as a Senator for Queensland , was vocal on tax, economic, and 'bread and butter' issues. Whether you agree with his politics or not, the guy clearly puts in the homework on policy details - exactly the kind of person who can sound uncertain in delivery but still be rock-solid on facts. He is not only well studied but intelligent, often leaving people bewildered by the level he operates on. With multiple degrees, - Bachelor of Commerce - Master’s in Taxation Law - Master’s in Applied Finance - plus 25 years in financial management and accounting before entering politics, One cue by itself proves nothing. It's important to compare to their baseline. Sudden changes matter more.

Just listen to our Canadian politicians speak like Me. Carney. A lot of ums, and nonsensical phrases that sound smart but mean absolutely nothing.

These are not silver bullets. People sometimes show negative reactions (not necessarily lying) when they can’t openly share their opinion probably because they are with a person higher on the hierarchy

Body language is pseudoscience bullshit btw

Ilhan Omar does the question inflection. It drives me crazy.

When I worked in restaurants and people would order food with the question inflection, I would follow up with "are you sure?" Because why the fuck are you talking like that

These are wonderful assumptions that random parents won't idiotically use

Aussies do the rise at the end all day

Hey @mazemoore I’m sure you have some Newsom examples…

garbage theory

All of this is so obvious.

This is complete 🐴 💩 There are no universal tell tale signs of lying. None. Everyone who says otherwise is scamming.

Taught to police forces , legal eagles , to those high flyers with lots of money , media , I’ve known a few hr people who’ve had a few coaching sessions . TBH if you just sit back & people watch it’s easy enough to pick up peoples body language . Interesting area of psychology

This style of study is pure pseudoscience

She’s never met a man 😂

Someone should call for her arrest pls, i did we get here!

Sh!t talker. Blah, blah, blah…

Ahhh! That’s why Omar’s words constantly go up at the end!

That’s everyone in CA. That’s how they talk.

Ilhan speaks like this…

@grok who is this woman?

This is why you answer ”no comments” on all questions in interogation

Sooo I don’t do most of those things if not all of them. I am very intentional with how I am, cause I’m thinking all of this in my head already, like I’m so self aware about how I sound and look.

I agree

Jennnn! JENNNNNNN!
