this should be obvious, but Wes Anderson riffs are so much more charming when it's friends throwing a thing together for fun and not awful A.I. monstrosities. "Wes Anderson Spider-Man" (insanely made a decade ago by the guy writing the next AVENGERS) has always been my favorite.

it's almost like the entire foundation of art and creativity is to be personally expressive and when that very human touch is lost it stops to both be a work of art and also lose any meaning whatsoever

@ResDolph This was (I think?) removed from YouTube but it was always my favorite. It’s just regular LotR footage stitched together by someone who seems to understand what’s compelling about Anderson’s editing.

Honourable mention for friends throwing a thing together (but putting love and skill into it) is @patrickhwillems doing Wes Anderson's X-Men. It takes more than knowing a style, you have to love the source material too!

@HeeeresJerry The glasses under the mask are what does it for me. The Owen Wilson impression isn’t bad

There’s just no comparison with real life charm. I love Patrick Willems’ Wes Anderson’s X-Men

Jeff is great, some of the best Rick and Morty episodes have come from him.

Both are dumb

Of course man, my god. who is arguing against this besides the people posting them?

The beats between lines are supreme
