This should not have been unnecessary roughness against the 49ers on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts… You can’t make calls like this, especially in the playoffs when every yard counts.

The NFL needs to ban sliding. If a QB doesn't want to be a football player.. they should quit. this is bullshit.

QBs just need to be treated as runners when they’re out of the pocket, and downfield like this. Defensive players should be able to hit them, like they hit any other player downfield. The overprotectiveness is hurting the game.

@Big12Bam We say that, but no one wants to see a bunch of backup QBs down the stretch of the season or in the playoffs, and while it was non-contact w/ Jones, no one wants to see one-time contenders, like this year's Colts, collapse. Can't have that both ways, so they have to protect QBs.

Had it not been called then the 9ers would’ve played a flawless penalty free game on the road vs the defending champs while missing half of their starters. 🤷🏽 It would’ve been an incredible feat.

It’s a call every time. The issue is that holding wasn’t called against San Fran on the Purdy run along its two DPIs.

True it was a bad call. But the phantom defensive holding on 3rd down in the red zone that favored the niners was way worse because it altered the entire game. Turned a likely field goal into a TD.

If it’s a call during the regular season, it’s a call during the playoffs. If it’s a call in the first quarter it’s a call in the fourth quarter. If it’s a call for Mahomes, it’s a call for Hurts. And we all know that Mahomes would get this call.
