Even more of "this shouldn't exist" is a 2016 Rav4 doing this back in May of 2021!! What - the - fuck. Tesla started rolling out in-car driver monitoring in 2021 and still required some kind of torque on the steering wheel to indicate attentiveness.

It’s hda. Only works on highways. Doesn’t change lanes or go around slower traffic. It’s line assist with adaptive cruise control. Doesn’t detect stop signs street lights or anything. Also doesn’t plot a navigation route. Pretty sure everyone knows this exists.

Gen 5 Rav4 yeah? I dunno what can be done to let more people know about this... I've had a Comma device since 2020.. (!) and have literally gone on cross-country trips with my old as dirt Rav4 driving by itself. Still amazes me to this day. I do wish I had the torque of Gen 5!
