This is so true. Religion in Africa has become a curse. It is used to placate the poor. It is used by politicians to manipulate the uneducated and the foolish. It is used by false prophets to extract money from the vulnerable. It is a curse. And saying religion is a curse is not denying the existence of a creator. The creator exists, but religion, as practised by many, has become a man-made con used to control, exploit, and silence people rather than uplift them. The real tragedy is that the victims of organised religion defend it to the hilt. They will fight for it. They will die for these fake prophets. They will die for politicians who lie to them using religion. They become so conditioned that they protect the very systems that exploit them, mistaking manipulation for faith and control for truth.

I saw this and I had to share it. Men go through sexual assault too and it saddens me that they would do that to him. What made it worse was he had an exam the next day, and they still did that to him and even said they should “continue” after he missed his exam. If you are a man and have ever been sexually assaulted, your story is just as important as the women who have experienced it. Speak up cause you deserve justice. #BoysLivesMatter

Today is Arraignment Day for a man that many people have believed to have been a criminal for decades. While everyone is innocent until proven guilty, I just want to remind you that Trump literally campaigned on "lock her up," and then his DOJ investigated her to no avail for 2 years. Trump supporters chanted "lock her up" for the past 8 years. They literally wanted Trump's political opponents locked up without any due process. So now that their guy has been indicted and will potentially face being locked up through due process, they call it "political bias." I call it hypocrisy.
