Graph Convolutional Network by hand ✍️ ~ 12 steps walkthrough below Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs), introduced by Thomas Kipf and Max Welling in 2017, are the tool for data shaped like a graph: social networks, recommendations, biological networks, drug discovery, molecular chemistry. I drew and calculated a simple GCN entirely by hand. Goal: run a two-layer GCN, then a small classifier, on a five-node graph, filling in every cell yourself. 1. Given A graph of five nodes, A to E, with edges between some of them. 2. Adjacency matrix (neighbors) Put a 1 wherever two nodes share an edge, in both directions. 3. Adjacency matrix (self) Add 1s down the diagonal, one self-loop per node. That is just adding the identity matrix. 4. Messages Multiply each node's embedding by the weights and biases, then ReLU. Negatives become 0. 5. Pooling Multiply the messages by the adjacency matrix. Each node gathers the messages of its neighbours and itself. 6. Visualize Node A pools [3,0,1] + [1,0,0] = [4,0,1]. 7. Second GCN layer Messages again: weights, biases, ReLU. 8. Pooling again Pool over each node and its neighbours, once more. 9. Visualize Node C pools [1,2,4] + [1,3,5] + [0,0,1] = [2,5,10]. 10. Fully connected layer Weights, biases, ReLU. This time there are no neighbours to pool, just the node itself. 11. Linear layer One more: weights and biases. 12. Sigmoid Squash each score to a probability (≥ 3 → 1, 0 → 0.5, ≤ -3 → 0). That is the classification for each node. You have just classified every node in the graph by hand. ✍️ The outputs: A: 0 (very unlikely) B: 1 (very likely) C: 1 (very likely) D: 1 (very likely) E: 0.5 (neutral) The takeaway: a GCN layer is two parts. The top part pools each node with its neighbours through the adjacency matrix. The bottom part is an MLP that transforms each node on its own. A transformer layer has the same two parts, with an attention matrix where the adjacency matrix was. Both matrices do one job, mixing across positions: attention over tokens, adjacency over nodes. In my class I call the GCN the transformer's little cousin: a bit more stubborn, because its attention is fixed by the graph rather than computed from Q, K, and V. Immediately after the Jacob/Anthropic tweet thread went viral, when it was at around 2m impressions, I screen recorded the first subtweeters as the diffusion/ propagation of the visit was obviously sync’d. I was certain, and said so at the time that the tweets were very highly suspect and bs. To do some light forensics, these days, as X cut off a lot of the tools/API I knew I had to catch the data in real time. I have , thru a shop I’m an investor in, the full x firehose, but whatever. Anyhoo, with this stuff it’s called ‘Graph Neural Networks’ = GNN It’s a graph of nodes that operate on graphs where nodes are connected by edges. A. Node (or a vertice) is a a network of users, the subtweeters B. edges are the relationships/interactions between them This is ‘neighborhood aggregation’ What you’re looking for, in the way I simplistically did it sans tools, is to look thru thr assorted influencers and subtweeters and see if their engagement is abnormal / too high And then also look for those accounts use of bots and inauthentic behavior Anyhoo

#Meme PA Update: 5 months of flat PA has never happened after a "Jan fractal" sequence move. This is why May, was in fact not that. I'll end up being right about every thesis ever communicated on AMC shortly. ----------- 📚 Quick update on $GME $AMC: The Super Macro POI window began today. The YB server knew today was a micro POI, and right on the money AMC is running the Jan frac on the micro as we speak (5% run currently). The super macro poi window lasts all of October. There are both macro and micro POI's within. I still want that $3.96-4.10 AMC macro spring, we could see it by Monday. However she did make a new macro low today at $4.29 so bottom can be in here. But the PA is too tight to tell (micro spring within a micro spring). Does not matter if we see $4 flat range or not. You all know how to average in by now. But I made a video a couple of days ago about the water issue in Idaho. Some people had reached out and said, Hey, do you know what's going on? I didn't know anything about it. Thank you all the warriors out there that, you know, there's a lot of people that have been doing some homework on this for a long time. And so I've shared some stuff, I've reposted some stuff. There's a ton of information out there, but this is crazy people. So the DOD, Department of Defense, you Google this, DOD Invest in Cobalt, just Google that, and this will come up. Part of the, you know why all the politicians want to fund Ukraine, right? Or not, you know, many reasons, but. So one of the, in the last Ukraine budget, or whatever you call it, there was some money in there for cobalt mining in America. There's over 200 politicians or invested in Jervis on the stock market. 200 politicians have invested in that company. The Department of Defense gave Jervis $15 million out of the Ukraine bill to do this mine in Idaho. And that's not the only one. It's just happening all over the country for cobalt and lithium mining here in America. But it's hidden in an Ukraine bill. All the politicians or 200 of the politicians are all stockholders in the company that's getting the contracts. It's just the biggest damn scam you ever seen, man. I just, you know, they wonder why. They wonder why the conspiracy theories get started. And it's because they just don't tell the truth. — I think it was 6.5 million chickens were put to death in Idaho real recent because of the bird flu. And it just seems like if there's a land grab, if the plan is, hey, we wanna take a million acres of Idaho and dig a big giant crater in the ground and mine lithium… Just put that on the table for the local state level people to vote on. You know, they just don't think we can handle the truth. They create the conspiracy theories and then they criticize you for believing in conspiracy theories and they censor stuff on these social media sites because they say it's misinformation. So stay quiet and stop being a problem.’ …There were people who were trying to compel me to retransition, people who were trying to tell me to kill myself, even just for the fact that I was going against the dogma. And I stayed low for a little bit. I apologized to the same people who were abusing me because I was a freshly traumatized 16 year old girl. I had been bullied in school before, but nobody had ever treated me this horribly over such a painful part of my life. But after a while of being painfully isolated. I started to really think the way that they are treating me is not deserved. I'm speaking to nothing but my experience, to the way that I feel and to reality. I'm going to speak up, regardless of whether they want me to or not. And I just knew that there had to be other detransitioners out there. And very quickly, I learned that they were in the thousands.
