No clouds, but the air is still bumpy because of: -Jet streams up high.. these fast rivers of wind (over 100-200 knots) slamming into slower air, creating invisible wind shear. -Mountain waves... wind blowing over mountains sends turbulence way up into the clear sky, even far away. -Gravity waves and air mass changes.. temperature shifts and different air layers causing hidden bumps. Wouldn't it be great if planes had better tech to actually see these waves ahead, like advanced LIDAR systems they're testing? The plane handles it fine , but keep your seatbelt on.

I’ve received too many messages to ignore the obvious… It sounds like the Park Fire is totally f*cked. #cafire #cawx #wildfire #parkfire Numerous resources self demobed today after the fire jumped a 16 blade wide dozer push, that’s the footage below. I’ve been told another dozer burned up today, and the operator received burns to the face and neck. Multiple crew members got singed while trying to catch spots and hold the line. They were talking about suppression repair yesterday, and today they are worried about the fire pushing into Mineral. At least they have prepped around that community extensively. I’ve been told Heavy equipment is scattered and overhead doesn’t know what they got, and head fire is slamming dozer line that folks were told not to burn off. That’s very odd to not fire off dozer line when you expect head fire to slam into it. This fire started in the worst way… I’d hate to see it end in the worst way as well. Yes, this is a massive fire that is difficult to manage, totally understandable. But the flood of messages in my inbox tells me the Swiss Cheese model is starting to line up.

Let's talk about this lift, but let's do so in a way to move the strength and conditioning profession forward. There is too much weight on the bar. The athlete cannot do that much weight without the spotter pulling them up off the ground. We know these things to be true. Does this mean split squat should not have a 1RM? Or should not be 1RM (or rep tested)? No it does not. Split Squat should. It should just be assessed properly with no pulling up out of the bottom (just like a back squat should not, or spotters hands on a bench press). Love to see the safety with other spotters on each side, would just like to see less slamming knee on ground and needing to be pulled up out of the bottom. TL;DR - 1RM or rep max your split squat/reverse lunge, just make sure you don't let athletes slam their knee on the ground and make sure you don't pull the athlete up out of the bottom.

They didn’t check his ID until after they’d already transported him miles away, to a detention facility, where they tried scanning his fingerprints and face into their system, and only then decided to look at the ID he’d been begging them to check from the start. And when they realized they had brutalized an American citizen? They released him with no medical attention, no apology, and no transportation back to where they took him from. This isn’t “immigration enforcement.” This is lawless violence, committed by federal agents who act as if citizens have no rights and cameras don’t exist. And this is exactly why people need to film, why states like Illinois are passing laws allowing residents to sue ICE agents directly… and why the public must keep demanding accountability until abuses like this are impossible to ignore and impossible to get away with.

This week, Joe Rogan and Paul Rosolie (two of my favs) had a convo slamming NFTs and crypto. You should listen. Here's why: As someone who coauthored a best selling book about the business applications of NFTs, I understand their skepticism. In fact, I hear this POV from businesses and people outside of the Web3 ecosystem somewhat frequently. There's a knowledge gap when it comes to crypto, NFTs, and the blockchain in general. People who love early stage technology need to hear conversations like this so we can respond with empathy and eduction. Much of the world thinks NFTs are overpriced pictures you can "right click and save," without understanding the applications of credentials, ticketing, gaming assets, loyalty programs, the ability to combat deep fakes, connected clothing, proof of ownership/authenticity for physical products, and more. There were times when credit cards, video games, online banking, cell phones, and even the internet itself, were considered niche products without scalability. New technology is almost always met with skepticism and resistance, and here's the thing we need to be intellectually honest and admit... ...much of the criticism is fair. There WAS an early gold rush and speculative bubble for NFTs. There IS a tech and cost barrier associated with Web3. There WERE and ARE scammers who take advantage of people in crypto. Just as there was, and still, with email, cell phones, and other iterations of technology. But, as someone who was relatively early to Web1 (coding websites in middle school in the mid 90's) and Web2 (Facebook in 2004), there's no doubt in my mind Web3 is the next phase of the internet. Digital ownership matters, and the more education we can get to the right people, the closer we can get to having them understand what this technology can truly do for the world.

Globalist stooge Maria Corina Machado is now openly campaigning for a SECOND regime change operation in Venezuela because the first isn't enough. So, what's really going on here? I believe Trump executed a 'fake' Regime Change Op in order to intercept the real one Globalists have been planning for a decade, and attempting, in various stages. By 'taking out' Nicholas Maduro (by extracting him, staging photo ops with him and basically getting mad about how Maduro does the Trump dance even better than Trump does the Trump dance, according to actual retarded media reports,) Trump has essentially siphoned the energy from the enemy's color revolution and rug-pulled its final stage. Keep in mind, Maduro's administration still controls Venezuela, at Trump's behest and on his authority. This will not do for the National Endowment for Democracy or the ghost of USAID, both of which have donated millions to Machado's campaigns en route to her winning a Nobel Peace Prize that was denied to President Trump, which is just about the cleanest reverse indicator you're ever likely to get in the Info War. By swapping Maduro out with his second-in-command, Trump is baiting the enemy into attempting to drum up support for a SECOND color revolution in as many weeks, because they didn't get the one they wanted the first time around. Russia is considering following the same playbook in Ukraine. And China may in Taiwan, because Trump has granted them the Narrative Shielding to do so, while depriving the Globalists of that very thing by slamming the door shut on Machado's legitimacy while shattering the carefully-cultivated illusion of her public mandate. In other words, Trump (and yes, Maduro) steered Venezuela into the path of the torpedo before it could arm itself. And very, very few in the so-called Truth Community have figured this out. The shocking footage shows how PC Lorne Castle grabbed the 15-year-old boy, who was suspected of assault, and pushed him into a wall before slamming him into the ground and proceeding to place his hand over the youth's face while shouting threats and curse words. During the commotion a Stanley-type knife fell out of the teenager's waistband. PC Castle, 46, was dismissed from Dorset Police over the Bournemouth arrest, sparking a wave of criticism as it emerged the teen was suspected of assaulting two people including an elderly gentlemen. He has now lifted the lid on a nightmare 16 months which he said 'could have broken him' - as Home Secretary Yvette Cooper faces calls to step in. The police officer told GB News: 'I came into police nine or 10 years ago. Prior to that, I was in the sports industry, went to Bournemouth University where I did law. 'I've had a confident life and am happy and get on with people. The last year and a half, when they've put me on restricted duties, I'm not allowed face-to-face contact with people. 'I'm isolated. I don't know whether I'm going to be able to pay the mortgage and bring money home until I see how this goes.' A misconduct panel last week found PC Castle made the boy feel 'frightened and intimidated' and showed him a 'lack of courtesy and respect' during the arrest in January last year. The officer admitted that he 'lost control' during the arrest and tearfully apologised for his 'out of character' actions at a police disciplinary hearing. The panel, led by Wiltshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Deborah Smith, found him guilty of gross misconduct. They said he failed to act with self-control, did not treat the boy with courtesy or respect and that his 'shouting, swearing, finger pointing, taking hold of the boy's face suggested use of leg restraints was not necessary, reasonable or proportionate'. It was alleged the officer also grabbed the boy's throat but this was not proven. PC Castle was dismissed without notice and barred from serving again.
