This murti is relatively safe, as it was immediately taken by the Bardhamman university where it will be on display in the university museum. However, this may not be the same for all murtis being found, and WB earth is now giving up murtis almost every week, of which some may go unnoticed. 📍Even though I am noticing increased awareness among Hindus in WB, about the murtis being found, where people are not only Sharing videos and photos, but also visiting them. However, the risk of these murtis being smuggled out through the Bangladesh borders still remains, especially for the ones that go unreported. 📍Recently I was told by a Hindu from BD that many murtis are missing from the BD museums and no one knows where they are. BD museums were once a treasure trove of murtis of Hindu gods, that were painstakingly collected by the Hindu zamindars before partition and then documented by historians like Bhattasali. Unfortunate many are supposedly missing now, thanks to a strong smuggling racket that operates there. 📍This smuggling racket also has established feelers in WB, so it’s essential that we share all videos and photos of the murtis that are being found (anywhere in India), so that more people know. It becomes difficult for the smuggling racket to remove murtis, which everyone knows about. 📍Since we can’t control what is happening in Bangladesh, we can collectively work towards saving our own murtis by raising awareness 🙏

To my followers please do repost if you can see it. Since the post is on West Bengal, X will definitely cut the reach
