This snow forecast has people bugging

We are going to get crippling ice here in nc. Here was our last event that we got .75” many were without power for weeks. 2 days ago they were predicting snow it just flipped to ice. I’m ready for it though many others aren’t

I live in Michigan and I’ve only ever used grocery pick up a couple times and it was for the use of a coupon. I cannot believe this many people cannot get out of their cars and go shopping.

Not about has been said about how awful the grocery pickup thing has become. Maybe it had some utility during peak pandemic but you can’t even walk around the store and get your own stuff anymore because half the employees are blocking the aisles with 16 people’s groceries.

Why are people acting like it’s the apocalypse? Lmao. It’s literally just 2days.

Our local walmart has closed pickup and delivery slots until after the ice hits next week.

I don't necessarily think it's Walmart in particular but is a lot of stores and the meteorologist and it looks like they're trying to push the following weekend going into February as well maybe it's to help push sales for the end of January

Are all these people so disabled they can't even go in to get their supplies or were they just too busy to care last week when they told us this forecast?

People need to admit that prepping is not a paranoid doomsday cult, usually. Most of the time it's people who just plan ahead for the weather. Take it from an anthropologist, our ancestors ALL used to be preppers.
