This solo indie dev is making a physics-driven PC combat sim. THIS IS NOT VR?! - Mouse directly controls the sword - Zero animations - Redirect or cancel any swing mid-move Would you play this? It's called BLOODFALL.

also the dev is a multi-time Canadian Taekwondo national champion 😅so awesome

"This is a game where the player moves the weapon directly with the mouse rather than selecting pre-defined actions." guys, this is seriously impressive! wishlist here and follow the talented dev @HyperMadGames

@IndieGameJoe , a huge thank you for sharing my game with your audience! If anyone wants to get in on the action, the Technical Alpha is now accepting testers on Steam! I will also be on Twitter for the next few hours to answer any questions anyone has. Thank you!

you are more than welcome! this looks amazing, really nice work!

Thank you so much Joe🙏, means alot coming from you. Exciting times ahead!

The way this looks like vr is crazy lol. Is it because there’s no other details ? Would deff play

yeah, it's pretty insane lol

Such a sick idea for a game mechanic. I'm interested to see how this will play as a full game.

As both gamer and a fencer, this looks decent.

I think I found the Steam page.

I had a prototype with the same concept, but I couldnt figure out how to do the movement. Hopefuly they have an idea for it cuz this looks sick.

Die by the sword vibes

I HAVE BEEN WANTING A GAME LIKE THIS FOR YEARS

Look up the old game "Die by the Sword" wasn't an FPS but had similar control scheme (that was brutal, unforgiving and hilarious)

This is deeeefinitely along what I love. Deep technical value like this with pinpoint input response?! Hell yes 😳❤️

unless he gets at least a team of 10, he'll never finish this!

Mechanics like this are crazy cool, as long as they actually feel fun in the hands of of players.

Physics-based combat always looks so cool

Throw in a lightsaber with the laser bot and yes.

Welcome back daggerfall

Neat

I would play this. I've been wanting lots more physics in games for a long time. There is so much room for innovation.

i want this in vr loool

If this was VR it would be awesome.

cool tech but if netcode and hit detection lag it dies instantly

@clongmire42 🔍

So mount and blade warband/bannerlord ?? Those do it 10x better already so

so is the entire point of the game just to block sticks in what looks like the default unity map?

So the game Half Sword?

implement MediaPipe so i can play without mouse @HyperMadGames

looks cool

I present you.

did you guys not grow up playing surgeon simulator SMH 🤦!
