I go to the union Starbucks in DC because they’re union. I don’t go to non union places. And I go because half of them are also Queer and that warms my queer heart. They’re Queer, union and nice, that’s why I go. More union spots mean more spots I’d go to
Let me reiterate now that I've had my (home-brewed) coffee: I spend every morning in this local Starbucks because the employees behind the camera INSPIRE me to start my day with a smile. THAT is the value Starbucks provides me. Pay them a livable wage. #nocontractsnocoffee
