This would in fact be illegal. “My name’s Ekaterina Deistler. …I did exactly what Elon Musk told everyone to do: sign the petition, refer friends and family, vote, and now I have a million dollars.” Just so you all know for next time. In most states it's illegal to pay people to vote regardless of whether you tell them who to vote for.
