XRP Ledger Could Get a New Lending Boost From Evernorth XRP Treasury firm, Evernorth, plans to deploy its ripple:native holdings across the XRP Ledger ecosystem. Chief Business Officer Sagar Shah said the company wants to use its treasury rather than simply hold XRP. The company is particularly focused on XLS-66, which could introduce native lending to the ledger. Validators are currently reviewing the proposal and assessing whether its code is robust enough. Shah believes ledger level lending could reduce risks associated with smart contract based DeFi.
