Unfortunately, him defending his business led to a mass boycott of the store. Protesters made it a race issue, as the woman was black, instead of a man preventing his property from getting robbed issue (which is what it was). Now he’s attempting to run his business once again. The caption of this video was: “So he thinks he's going to open back and be cool like people have forgot.. Let's make all our community see this and show him, not only have we not forgot, we are going to put him out of business.” Moral of the story? Breaking into a store with a gun is one thing. Getting locked inside by the employees is a whole different level of failure. A man walked into a cell phone store, pulled a handgun on employees, and demanded money. Instead of freezing, the employees calmly escaped, locked him inside the store, and called police. Once he realized he was trapped, the panic set in. He tried $hooting at the door lock, throw!ng himself against the reinforced door, and repeatedly called out to be let out, insisting he wouldn't take anything. None of it worked. Police arrived a short time later and took him into custody without further incident. He later pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years in prison.
