She was found with Chad “Charly” Mecca, 43, who told officers Geyser ran because of him. Geyser initially refused to identify herself, telling police to “just Google” her before admitting she’d “done something really wrong.” She and Mecca were taken into custody; Mecca was cited and released. Geyser, one of the teens who carried out the 2014 “Slender Man” stabbing, now faces consequences for violating her conditional release.

Scout kept sneaking into the same Michigan nursing home over and over until staff realized he had bonded with the residents. Now he lives there permanently comforting elderly patients and hospice residents. Should every nursing home have a resident dog?
