This Subway location refused to honor his order discount

The guy did nothing wrong, he ordered from the app. The store owner doesn't honor the app discount. The store owner needs to work with the app to not select his store when somebody wants the discount.

Complicated situation 1- Can a branch refuse to participate in something when they are a chain? 2- App mistake, the guy paid for it and went to pick it up 3- The guy could have been respectful sti 4- The owners refused straight away, not even trying to compromise
