This summer has been difficult for far too many Bahamians. I know the discomfort and disruption these outages have caused, especially in this heat. My prayers are with every family and business affected, and I am deeply grateful to the BPL teams working in challenging conditions to restore power....

Zack Polanski's speech at the Together Alliance march "Looking at this crowd I see unity, I see solidarity, I see love. I see we are together" "Look around. Look at the people around you. We are intergenerational. We are white, we are black, we are Asian, we are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, non-faiths. We are community" "And together, we will win" "The tide is turning is turning. There have been dark times. I know people have been scared and have been afraid" "But days like this are here to send a message" "A message to Tommy Robinson. To Nigel Farage. To those appease who appease them" "When we turn up in our hundreds and our thousands, in our hundreds of thousands, we are unstoppable" "We see what's happening in the United States. Children snatched in the streets. People shot in cold blood. We see the war mongering. And the far right see that as their blueprint" "But people in this country have seen Reform UK for who they really are" "They would have dragged us into this illegal and unpopular war with Iran" "And we say today, this is not in our name, this is not our war" "And looking out today I see so many flags and so many slogans" "I know we are here for our migrant communities, for our trans communities, for the Palestinians, our struggles are interconnected, and we stand in solidarity" "There's three things we have to do" "First. We must not give an inch to the Daily Mail, to the rightwing hacks, to the people that spread hate and division. We will defeat you" "Second. We say to Reform UK, we know exactly who you are. You are climate denying, Trump-loving, NHS dismantling, corporate stooges" "Finally. We have to tackle the cost of living. It is time to lower people's bills. It is time to tax billionaires. Nationalise the water companies. Rent controls. Make sure we have the energy cap, so people aren't chosing between heating and eating" "More than anything, today is a march and it does not stop here. This is just the beginning" "Local elections are coming in just a few weeks time. We will defeat hate" "It's time to make hope normal again" *Audience erupts in cheer*

Today, I had the privilege of speaking to the HUMAIN team at our CEO Townhall. I often say this, and I mean it deeply: I am living my dream... working in a country where energy goes beyond oil. It’s in the people, the ambition, and the belief in building a better future. Saudi Arabia is unlike anywhere else. The hospitality is second to none. The vision is bold. And the commitment to shaping the future is real. What we are building at HUMAIN is foundational. We are not only participating in the AI era, but redefining it. Shifting the narrative from experimentation to real value creation. But more importantly, we are not afraid to challenge what an organization should look like in an AI-native world. In fact, we are pioneering it. We are actively reshaping how we work: - Moving toward a future where AI agents do the work - Empowering our people to focus on high-value thinking, creativity, and decision-making - Building strong foundations in security, governance, and guardrails - Continuously enhancing our models, systems, and operating frameworks This is not theory. This is happening now. What I saw today from our teams gives me absolute confidence: - Products that are not just innovative, but game-changing - Teams building at a speed and quality that challenge global norms - A culture focused on execution, ownership, and impact At #LEAP2026 this year, we will go beyond vision. We will show: Real demos. Real products. Some of them are a first of their kind in the world. And they are built right here in Saudi Arabia. I could not be more proud of this team. What they have accomplished in such a short time is remarkable. This is just the beginning. The future is not something we wait for. It’s something we build. #HUMAIN #LEAP #TheEndOfLimits #AI

President Zelenskyy addressed Orbán regarding the Druzhba pipeline, and he didn’t hold back on the absurdity of it all. Basically, Ukraine is being put in this insane position where they are expected to repair a Russian pipeline—the same Russia that's currently trying to wipe them off the map—just so Viktor Orbán can keep his cheap energy fix and stay in power. It’s peak irony: Ukraine has to facilitate putin’s profits to satisfy a guy who’s spent the last four years trying to tank EU support for Kyiv. Zelenskyy is essentially saying, 'Look, we can fix it in a month, but why should we?' Especially when the EU is dangling €90 billion in aid over their heads like a ransom note. It’s a masterclass in the kind of dirty backroom politics Ukraine is forced to deal with while fighting a literal invasion. President Zelenskyy on the Druzhba Pipeline: "Regarding the pipeline, let me be very honest with you. To be honest, I would not restore it. It is Russian oil. That is my personal position. But I am the President of a country that is at war, and we have many factors and many partners. Technically, we can restore it. Our specialists say that within a month, or a month and a half, we can technically bring it back to work. Not all the damage can be repaired immediately, but it can work. But there is a political side to this issue. There are things and principles that are simply priceless. They are killing us, and we have to give oil to Orbán because he cannot win elections without it? This is a very difficult question for our society. We are discussing this with our European partners. We are told that if we do not restore it, up to 90 billion euros of EU funding for Ukraine could be blocked. This is a very high price. We are waiting for an official request from the European Union. I discussed this with the President of the European Council, António Costa. We must understand what the official position of the EU is. Also, we are looking at other options. Perhaps this pipeline can be used for other purposes, not for Russian oil. We are ready for dialogue, but we will always defend the interests of Ukraine and our people."
