@DefenceHQ @BritishArmy UK MoD is the traditional thinker, obsessed with NATO's combined arms manoeuvre operations which have only worked twice. Once against third-rate military power in 1990/1 and then against sixth-rate military power in 2003. Shame so many Ukrainians have died for this obsession.

@DefenceHQ @BritishArmy Yeah, but will they actually work against an army like Russia’s? Or is it the nonsense trotted out for goat herders in flip flops?

SDF commander Mazloum Abdi told Aryen TV, a PJAK-affiliated outlet (PJAK is the PKK’s Iranian offshoot), that the SDF does not want to join or integrate into the current HTS-led army, but instead seeks a merger to jointly build a new “national army.” “We’re not saying we will join them. We want to jointly build a Syrian army. The SDF is a large force; in size, we are comparable to the Damascus army. So we need to build a new defence force for Syria together, and the SDF should have a special and distinct role within it,” Abdi said. We have reported this point before: the SDF is framing its position as a merger to create a new army, not absorption into the existing force. From our September report: “What is new now, as the SDF and Syrian government enter more serious negotiations about the SDF’s future and Syria’s governance, is that the SDF appears to be putting forward an alternative proposal to keeping its own unified bloc. Rather than integrating the SDF, estimated to be a 100,000-strong force, into the currently forming HTS-led army, their new proposal—put forward by Sipan Hamo, long a shadowy figure who led the YPG, the SDF’s backbone, but was kept out of the spotlight due to Turkish sensitivities—suggests the two should merge on equal footing to build a joint military council as a first step toward rebuilding “a new national army that includes all Syrians and is based on a comprehensive democratic project.” This proposal reflects a strategic shift. The SDF is no longer merely resisting absorption into Damascus’s structures; it is now engaging Damascus on its own terms. By framing the discussion around a merger rather than integration, the SDF is effectively saying: if the government does not want parallel armies, then it must negotiate the terms of a joint force, one in which the SDF would become a coequal pillar of a newly reconstituted Syrian army. In this scenario, the SDF positions itself not just as a faction to be dissolved, but as a central partner in shaping and ruling the new Syria.”

Jensen Huang doesn’t use AI to think less. He uses it to think past his own limits. Huang: “90% of my instructions are actually conflated with questions.” The man running a five trillion dollar company doesn’t give AI commands. He interrogates it. Huang: “I take the answer from one AI, give it to the other AI, ask them to critique itself.” Same question. Multiple models. Pit them against each other. Keep only what survives. Not because the machine can’t be trusted. Because challenging it is where the sharpest thinking happens. Huang: “The process of critiquing, criticizing the answers, applying your critical thinking, enhances cognitive skills.” AI doesn’t replace your thinking. It demands more of it than you’ve ever given. Every question takes reasoning. Every answer takes scrutiny. The machine isn’t thinking for you. It’s pulling thinking out of you that didn’t exist before you sat down. Huang: “In order to formulate good questions, you have to be thinking, you have to be analytical, you have to be reasoning yourself.” AI is not the shortcut everyone thinks it is. It is the most powerful cognitive amplifier ever built. It sharpens the engaged. It leaves the passive exactly where they started. Same tool. Same access. The only variable is what you bring to it. The world is debating whether AI will replace human thinking. Wrong conversation. The real question is what happens when a tool built to think for you becomes the thing that forces you to think beyond yourself. That’s not a threat to humanity. That’s the entire point.

We raised a $135M Series A! 8090’s Series A was led by Salesforce Ventures and joined by WNDR, Craft Ventures, The Production Board, and LAUNCH. We also had the support of a group of esteemed angels including Nikesh Arora, Cliff Robbins, Adam D’Angelo, Shyam Ravindran, Abhi Arun, and Thomas Laffont. We’re grateful for their support. It validates 8090’s mission and traction so far, but mostly it accelerates the work ahead. The capital will go to two places. The first is hiring more people, because the demand we have is accelerating rapidly. The second is investing in the compute and infrastructure needed to keep delivering our solutions at high quality and reliability. 8090 works with the biggest, hardest, most demanding customers in the most regulated industries: healthcare, insurance, life sciences, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, financial services, and the United States government. We help them win by using our AI-enabled Software Factory to design and build entire new systems, refactor old ones, and find and accelerate their edge. Our view is that as Software Factory is used more and more to do mission-critical work inside industries with the least tolerance for error and the most oversight, it will be used to bring transparency, consistency and control to work everywhere. And as we expand the potential of the biggest organizations, we are also building a playbook and a series of network effects into Software Factory that will be valuable to everyone, from SMBs to solo founders. With much gratitude, back to work… PS - A note on why I am doing this as CEO, rather than from the board. This is one of those rare moments when the technological ground is moving so ferociously underneath all of us that the decisions made in the next few years will set the stage for the next twenty. AI can be the grand equalizer. It is the thing that can give everybody a shot, and I would like to help it achieve that potential. Since I left Facebook, I was waiting for a moment like this to return to a full-time operating role. I was a demanding manager back then, but I felt I had no choice given how powerful and undeniable what we were building was. I am convinced that what we are building now is even more important, so there was no decision to make except to be all in.

There is a British tradition that has been happening every spring for over 800 years. 🇬🇧 The Black Death didn't stop it. The Reformation didn't stop it. Cromwell tried to abolish it. He failed. Two World Wars couldn't stop it. Almost nobody knows about it. It happened five weeks ago. ⏳ Every spring, on the Thursday before Easter, the King or Queen of England personally gives silver coins to elderly British people who have spent their lives serving their communities. 🪙 The coins come in two small leather purses. One white. One red. The recipients keep the silver coins for the rest of their lives. It started in 1210. An English king walked among thirteen elderly people in his palace, and gave them silver coins from his own hand. Every English king and queen since then has done the same. ⛓️ The kings have changed. The queens have changed. The cathedrals have changed. The recipients have changed. The act has not. The same silver coins. The same two purses. The same Thursday in spring. Last month, in a small cathedral in North Wales, the King of England walked among one hundred and fifty-four elderly British people, and gave them silver coins from his own hand. 🇬🇧 Eight hundred and sixteen years. More than forty British monarchs. One unbroken tradition. 🙏 This is what Britain has always been. A country that does not forget the people who served it. We are a growing community of British people, proud of an island that has honoured its own for over a thousand years. 🇬🇧 The coins. The cathedrals. The crowns. The keeping. Not forgetting. Not abandoning. Holding. This is who we are. This is who we have always been. Help us teach Britain its own history. Find out more at 👉 Be part of us. 🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

Let me give everyone just a little common sense test. It may be that I retired from the United States Air Force, that the answer is crystal clear to me and maybe a bit more challenging for others. So the guy on the left is claiming to be the president of the United States of America. He claims his name is Joe Biden but we know Joe Biden is dead. He faced a military tribunal and was executed. So really do you really think that a president of the United States of America gets off a plane and gets into some random dudes vehicle? Only someone that doesn't know anything about the military would think such nonsense. Or are you someone that has a great deal of common Sense and critical thinking ability and can see this motorcade on the right and know that that's what a presidential motorcade looks like and that means the president is really in there. This so happened to be president Trump on his way to South Carolina rally. So is the real president on the left side or is the real president on the right side? This really should be a no-brainer but of course we know liberals absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt or no brainers they have no brains, they have no common sense, there are cognitive dissonance is all messed up, and they have zero critical thinking capabilities. By the way even former presidents don't have motorcades that look like that for anybody thinking that the excuse for it. So-called president gets in an Uber carrying his own luggage and people can't wake the hell up.

🚨Watch Tucker Carlson TWISTS Trump and Rubio’s statements to sell his Iran narrative - PURE PROPAGANDA: What Tucker claims Trump said on camera: “We’re thinking about using nukes against Iran. The president of the United States just said out loud that if this gets more intense, we could nuke them.” What Trump actually said when asked what more militarily needs to be done in Iran was “more of the same,” and that he is “leaving certain things.” He did not say he was “thinking about using nukes,” as Tucker claimed. Full quote from Trump: “More of the same. And we'll see how that all comes out. They've lost their navy. They've lost their air force. They have no anti-air force apparatus at all. They have no radar. Their leaders are gone. And we can do a lot worse. We're leaving certain things. That if we take them out, we take them out by this afternoon. In fact, within an hour. They'd literally never be able to build their country back.” Tucker went on to say that “there's been very little interest in convincing you we did this in America's national interests,” claiming Secretary of State Marco Rubio “came out and said Israel forced our hand.” This narrative has already been shot down by Rubio himself, who said he was taken out of context and that Trump made the decision to strike Iran after negotiations fell through. Rubio, when asked about claims that he told the press the U.S. got involved because Israel was going to strike Iran, said: “No. Yeah, your statement is false. I told you this had to happen anyway. The president made a decision. And the decision was that Iran wouldn’t be allowed to hide behind its ballistic missile program. That Iran was not going to be able to hide behind the ability to conduct these attacks. That decision had been made. The president made a decision to systematically destroy this terroristic capability that they had, and that we carried that out. I was very clear on that answer. This was a question of timing - of why this had to happen as a joint operation - not a question of intent. Once the president made a decision that negotiations were not going to work, that they were playing us in the negotiations, and that this was a threat that was untenable, the decision was made to strike them. That's what I said yesterday. If you're going to play these statements, you need to play the whole statements - not clip them to reach a narrative you want to do.” That last sentence could explicitly apply to Tucker Carlson.
