I don’t play much anymore for two reasons. In this order 1) Bungie has no soul anymore. The remnants of a Bungie that was likable are gone. 2) the community has become a self fulfilling prophecy of gatekeeping, hate and harassment.

I used to have a big ego when it came to Destiny 2 but I’m glad I don’t anymore. A lot of the endgame community is filled with hate like you said but it’s gotten so bad to the point where if someone completes a challenge they are sometimes frowned upon because it’s "easy"

Crown of Sorrow being literally unplayable and no way to circumvent this is criminal

Any content I paid for not being playable is criminal, I want my shit back

The reason people are so passionately negative about the game is because it has so much potential and has been so much better. But Bungie’s leadership consistently have made bad decisions

Removing 70% of the content was what ruined the story for me, and respecting Bungie

The Destiny Content Vault turning into a content jail is depressing. It's crazy how much of Destiny's problems feel like self-sabotage by Bungie. The inability or refusal to properly organize what should be credited as one of the greatest sci-fi stories of the last decade.

All of that money is going to Marathon. I refuse to buy that game out of principle.
