For the people who say that teachers shouldn’t have to pay for their own supplies because they get funding need to understand how little they actually get for actual classroom supplies. Yes the schools get allot of money but it’s mainly for tech and facilities. People don’t understand how much more these teachers actually need that they don’t actually get funding for. Would you pay more in school taxes if it means the teachers aren’t paying out of pocket?

While washing he and his girlfriend’s cars this man noticed that on the headlamps on the driver’s side in both vehicles that they were marked. Whenever his girlfriend drove the car it was marked with a “w” for woman. When she had their child with them it had a dot next to the “w” to indicate it was one child. After seeing them he found out about the when he did a little research. If this is true then it shows how elaborate and organized this is, what would you do if you saw these marks on your car?

A child's sexuality does not erase the years you spent raising them. It doesn't erase the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the memories, or the love you once had for them. If your child comes to you with the truth about who they are, remember that they are still the same child who called you "Mom" or "Dad." The only difference is that they trusted you enough to be honest. Rejecting, disowning, or abandoning your child doesn't change who they are. It only changes where they feel safe. Instead of running into your arms, they may run into the arms of strangers, where they can be vulnerable to exploitation, abuse, homelessness, depression, or even suicide. Love should never be conditional. A parent's love should be the safest place a child can ever find, not the first place they experience rejection. You don't have to agree with everything about your child to treat them with dignity, compassion, and love. Families can have difficult conversations without abandoning one another. At the end of the day, ask yourself this: if your child needed you at their lowest moment, would you want them to remember your love or your rejection? Children don't stop being your children because they tell you the truth about themselves. They still need guidance. They still need protection. Most of all, they still need their parents. Choose love over rejection. Choose understanding over abandonment. Your child will remember that choice for the rest of their life.

Most teachers in this country are regularly observed as part of their professional development. Two thirds of teachers do not think this has made a difference to their actual practice. Teachers do not understand the feedback they receive. They do not agree with the feedback they receive. They do not feel willing or capable to implement the feedback they receive. These things are facts, and they are both worrying and upsetting. And none of this is a secret. We all know it, we've all experienced it. When we asked Carousel Teaching users what topics they wanted us to make courses on, the most common response was "how to observe lessons and give feedback." Ben Rice and I are now MAD EXCITED to announce our How To Observe a Lesson and Give Feedback course. It's mega. We filmed a bunch of lessons, and we also filmed me observing those lessons. The best parenting advice I ever received: Make a list of all of the principles and values that you want your child to live by, then go out and actually embody them yourself. If you want your child to treat your wife like a queen, you’d better treat your wife like a queen. If you want your child to embrace delayed gratification, you’d better embrace delayed gratification. If you want your child to do hard things, you’d better do hard things. Children learn by absorbing. You do not teach a child something by telling them how to do it—you teach them through showing them how it’s done. Rule: Live the truth you want your child to embrace.
