The reason this continues is because humans not only regard themselves as superior to animals but the Government does too. I am psychologically conflicted. I have an old dog with arthritis and at times she is in pain.The thought of having her killed feels so wrong. Many vets take the view that quality of life is sacrosanct. I also feel a hypocrite because I occasionally eat meat. When I see images like the poor pig, I feel quite distressed by it. Do we humanise animals too much? I am against the euthanasia of humans.

So heartbreaking, poor precious soul/s. 💔😢
