“As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, I’m reminded of how lucky we are to call Utah home.”This state is filled with rampant crime, illegal immigrants, a homeless crisis, drug addiction, a shortage of affordable housing, taxes raised left and right, elections stolen, schools over crowded and the cherry on the top: an illegitimate governor. Other than that, Utah is doing great! P.S.: When someone is serving food, hair masks are required. Your wife and Deidre had their hair all over the food. It was just a very badly staged photo op.

It was an honor to deliver my annual State of the State speech this week. I hope you will take a few minutes to watch. It’s about how profoundly weird Utah is and how we can keep it that way. “My friends, the State of the State is as strong as it’s ever been. And I’m convinced with every passing day that the source of our state’s strength is what for the longest time people told us was our weakness. We’re different. We’re weird. The good kind of weird. The kind of weird the rest of the nation is desperate for right now. And I’m praying we can keep it that way.”

God has a way of placing people in our lives for a reason and I’m so grateful He placed Ashley and Carlos in ours. Their support of The Bundle of Joy Fund and even more their friendship and love for our family means so much. Accepting the Seeds of Hope Award on behalf of Kyle was incredibly emotional. The Bundle of Joy Fund was born from one of the hardest chapters of our lives and grew into being able to give other couples the chance to become Mom and Dad. I wish more than anything Kyle was still here to carry on this mission with me but knowing a piece of him lives on through every Bundle of Joy baby is so special. I’ll keep carrying what we built together forward, helping families grow and making him proud. 💚

I’m grateful to God for His unconditional love, for the chance to learn and grow, and do my best to be of service to God and others.
