and it's another piece of finnicky electronics I DO NOT WANT. If there's a situation where I actually need to draw my gun under stress, i'm not using this. Anyone who's ever used a fingerprint scanner knows if your hand is the least bit damp from sweat, dirty, or off-center will not get the scanner to work. We've seen tons of these types of "safety" boxes and they never take off

@VaraSafety not really, i have a finger print reader for my front door and if you dont have the finger on it the exact same way you did when you programmed it then it wont work. thats just casually coming home, try it when you got adrenaline flowing.

@VaraSafety Don’t depend on a fingerprint reader lock. A lot of times you can have blood on your hands or whatever else and then you have to revert to the secondary lock mechanism. I’d be more interested if it had the keypad on the top and no fingerprint reader.

@VaraSafety It’s cool, i just personally don’t like biometric/electrical safety equipment. I rather have it on my hip or arm length away ready to go. If I have to store it I want the simplest unit to put it in with an old style lock I got a key or code to.
