Call me crazy but the people who speak literally are the mature thinkers and the ones who beat around the bush are neurodivergent

I know I’m neurodivergent, but I did not know that this was a neurodivergent “thing” or way of thinking. I say exactly what I mean and I’m not going to make hints or implications in the way, in my conversations. I just thought I was blunt but this makes so much sense!

Wait 🫷🏾 so society believes that implied communication and "beating around the bush" is a mature form of communication? Why say what you don't mean when you could just say what you do mean? 🤔🙄

People who read in too much fail completely when you say something that is outside of what they've normally encountered.

I think its just normal & all this “implied” shit is weird. We not reading a poem, this not a book. Why the fuck are people “normalizing” talking in riddles. I only accept “implication” by nuance. People too untrustworthy & weird for “implication”. Say it or stfu honestly.

It took me. ..a minute 😂. ..to understand when folks said things like, "I been waiting here for a (good) minute" that, it did not mean a literal minute (60 seconds). 😭 There's a bunch of other implied things that have gone over my head, or still do, but that one I remember. 😅
