Today, I joined the community in Gasabo District, Rutunga Sector, Kigabiro Cell, Rukerereza Village for Umuganda. Together, we gathered in recognition of World Water Day, International Day of Forests, and World Meteorological Day important moments that remind us how much we depend on nature every single day. One of the main activities was tree planting. As I placed a young tree into the soil, It reminded me that every tree we plant is a promise to protect our land, to preserve our water, and to leave something better for the next generation. Planting trees should not be seen as a one-day ! It is something each of us should take part in, wherever we are. Because when we plant a tree, we are growing hope, protecting life, and investing in our future. #Umuganda #PlantATree

And we have a president now that understands not only the power of prayer, but the importance of people in America praying and giving back to our foundation. An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be.
