My take on PttvOnlinenews today The crucial #INDIAalliance meeting is around the corner. While the #DMK may choose to boycott 'this' meeting in which Congress is part of, it is likely to make every effort to isolate the Congress nationally, feeling that it was backstabbed by the party. At the same time, a national-level realignment is underway. Parties like the TMC still need the support of the Congress and other opposition parties to effectively take on the BJP at the national level since they lost their own state. As far as Tamilnadu is concerned, however, the 2029 election will largely depend on how TVK positions itself against the BJP , whether on policy, ideology, or political messaging. Simply having the Congress in the alliance will not automatically make TVK appear ideologically anti-BJP, nor will it organically transfer votes. A YSRCP or BJD-style model of 'maintaining distance' from the BJP, while keeping Congress as an ally may not necessarily work in Tamilnadu. #TNpolitics #tamilnaduelections
