This Toonami motivation speech from 2012 >

That Toonami speech still hits harder than most modern motivational content. Pure 2012 nostalgia wrapped in anime grit, timeless.

I Raise you this one.

I hope my heaven is just this vibe for all eternity

Kind of shame Toonami doesn't do speeches anymore. Every once in a while we'll get a music video, but nowadays it's just game reviews.

Tom kept it real.

That was one of the most badass voices I ever heard that stuck with me to this day.

It ain’t fucking easy. I know that

Muzan is life 😡

Hits harder than any workout or pep talk 😭 Pure energy and nostalgia vibes.

@leviath666 We had it pretty good. Today’s speeches be like:

Dang Casshern Sins, forgot about that Anime. Also, is that Deadman Wonderland clips as well?

Until this day all my anime homies still don’t know what Casshern Sins is… such an underrated anime.

Man I miss TOM. Thanks for the pep talk homie.

Not this reminding me that Deadman Wonderland came out way back then 😵🤣

NAH DAY GOES BY I MISS "TOONAMI"...

@imonalist Why does it sound like Steve Blum Tank Dempsey?

I actually remember watching this in the wild

Still feels wild that the reboot era of Toonami has been on air longer than its original run.

I’d always toon into toonami just to listen to the guy, never really watched the anime, not often for long anyway. This guy could run an entire channel

yep

@AkumaMikoVT Aww, the last part got cut. “Be all that you can be.”

@AkumaMikoVT Tom's pep talks were always something I really appreciated.

some anime studio needs to do a full remake/remaster whatever the term is in anime to reboot a show fully for deadman wonderland

Toon? Am I? Loony Tuned..? K-now, we'll be right there with you.

Needed this reminder today

I listen to that Speech Every Morning and Every Day to keep me motivated

Okay imma go punch a wall now. Brb.

Really a great edit

I love this

Toonami was peak

The whole city's behind me
