I used to say “ she made him with love” and I am partly still standing behind my words🙈 yet Yildiz didn’t create the good in him… she reminded him of it! Serhat always had that merciful, kind side inside him. We know that. I know that. And I will always be proud that I believed in that from the very beginning. I kept saying it before episode 14 even aired (Serhat left Urfa because of Yıldız.) Nobody took me seriously back then🌚… until the flashbacks proved it, and that’s one of the reasons episode 14 became one of my favorite episodes Because the truth is, even as a child, Yıldız was the person who shifted his entire life. Yes young Serhat chose to sacrifice himself for her but when he came back years later with that cold attitude, that mask he built to protect himself from being used by her and to protect her from a marriage she didn’t want as a child … she was the one who slowly brought him back to himself! Cuz she saw through him! She did that with love. With patience. With mercy. With care! She didn’t change him by forcing him. She reached the part of him that was always there the parts that no one saw but her… the parts that he hid from others. And I love that Serhat himself confirmed this in episode 27 when she told him what a good man he was, and he basically answered that her existence was the reason goodness could exist around her! The way I love Serhat is becoming unhealthy 😭 I miss them so much 🥹

Yes young Serhat chose to sacrifice himself for her but when he came back years later with that cold attitude, that mask he built to protect himself from being used by her and to protect her from a marriage she didn’t want as a child … she was the one who slowly brought him back to himself! Cuz she saw through him! She did that with love. With patience. With mercy. With care! She didn’t change him by forcing him. She reached the part of him that was always there the parts that no one saw but her… the parts that he hid from others. And I love that Serhat himself confirmed this in episode 27 when she told him what a good man he was, and he basically answered that her existence was the reason goodness could exist around her! She was literally using her last straw of survival… her own body! Imagine being put in a situation where you feel like you have to sacrifice yourself as a woman just to survive. Just to avoid being sent back to the same hell you spent your whole life trying to escape. And all of this… because the only thing you wanted was to study. A basic human right btw!! Yet people were so cruel and disgusting that they reduced the whole situation to “she was offering her body for him.” Meanwhile, he literally saw her shaking from fear while she was taking off her robe. And before she even said anything, he told her “yapma” in that tone because he understood what was happening. He saw her desperation! And I will keep saying this forever!! Serhat hated himself for bringing her to a point where she felt like she had to offer herself just to survive… Then she asked him: “Don’t you want me?” And he couldn’t answer. We lost one of our most courageous warriors yesterday 💔 Anna was one of the first people I saw fearlessly standing on the front line. From her powerful presence outside Parliament and vaccination centres to countless other places, she faced the public and police with unwavering courage and conviction, inspiring so many of us to follow in her footsteps. Anna was one of my greatest inspirations and gave me the confidence to step into the lion’s den myself. I’ll never forget sitting with her on the grass after a march, confiding that I was just weeks away from filming the BBC “Unvaccinated” documentary. I was terrified, but she held my hand, reassured me, and said, “Everything will be fine because we are on the side of good.” While I was in that house, she called me every day, guided me, listened to me cry, and gave me strength. Her selflessness knew no bounds. I will forever remember her kindness, her bravery, and her remarkable strength. She will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life. After 10 years on the street and getting stabbed twice in the stomach there are many things that helped Chance get back on feet. The vets, the medicines, the shelter and the good food. But absolutely nothing has changed her life quite like Hank has. Since the first day she met him she has copied his every move. She has edged closer and closer to him. She glances over her shoulder for his presence. She tucks in behind him. She watched everything and looks for his gentle approval. For his part Hank doesn’t force anything with her.
