No, that is a common phenomenon called Hysterical Strength. I’ve seen it personally at work as a cop. Adrenalin mixed with the tunnel vision allows you to accomplish things like this. One example I can give is a woman picking up an 600lbs ATV that was on top of her son and pushing it aside with ease. Her son being the most importanst thing to her gave her an adrenaline dump and tunnel vision to put all of her strength and concentration into moving that ATV that fell off the trailer and onto her son. Her son is ok now. I’ve also had it personally happen to me once at work under a crazy adrenaline dump. It’s a survival mechanism that we all have during fight or flight.
