I feel terrible for some of these Uber drivers. This is why you can't get an Uber in hood. You get people that act like this and put this Uber driver though all this stress and drama. Credit to this Uber driver for not backing down. No surprise that immediately the threat of harm or car jacking comes into play. But the Uber driver was sharp enough to remind him that all of his personal information has already been shared with Uber when he opened his account. Getting that info to the police would be a snap. Sure mad the thug think twice about doing anything.

This Lyft driver was watching a show on her phone with earbuds in her ears while driving this mother and daughter. When the mother asked her if she was watching a show the driver told her she was just listening to it. When she informed her that it is against the law to drive with earbuds (it is the driver turned it around on her and started yelling at her saying that when passengers listen to or watch videos it is distracting and dangerous to the driver. She pulled over and made them get out. Lyft responded to the mother and daughter. “We're so sorry to hear what happened during this ride and can't imagine how you're both feeling. This truck driver was on the highway when the lane next to her was ending, she’s fed up with all of the irresponsible drivers that she knows is going to try to cut her off. Right on cue a woman and her son are driving on the shoulder of the road. St this point she’s not even in a lane anymore. The other driver still aggressively tries to cut her off to get into her lane, and ends up clipping the semi truck.the woman is irate and screams about how the truck driver hit her and how it’s the truck drivers fault. He then blew his nose into a napkin and used that same napkin to wipe the lid, just seconds before handing it to her. Security stopped her from drinking it before it was too late. This CBS LA investigation found that a significantly large percentage of drivers for Uber, Lyft, Doordash, etc. did NOT match their driver profiles on the apps. Uber drivers know exactly what is going on here. Folks can go on Bookface right now and buy ready-to-go accounts to drive Uber, Lyft, etc. They just pay a few hundred bucks and they are driving that same day. And this is not on some shady back channel, this is out in the open. The reporter/investigator asked the innocent question "why don't they just go on the app and apply normally, how hard can it be." Well, it's pretty damn hard if you can't pass a background check. And I probably don't need to remind anyone here on this platform why someone might not be able to pass a background check. Uber Inc. seems to be more busy throwing shade at their partner Waymo, and talking about how they are going to lead the AV revolution, than they ever seem to be concerned about this. But this is dangerous for you and your loved ones. And it's hard on the drivers out there who did it the right way. Everyone loses here, everyone except Uber Inc. But yeah, please go ahead and get on X and tell everyone here another terrible Uber driver story. And then amazingly at the end of your story somehow it never ends with you actually logging a complaint and/or reporting anything to a watchdog organization or journalist. This biker was on a reckless streak, speaking, flipping off cops. The police officer immediately went int pursuit. The biker then takes off even faster than before and drives into the oncoming traffic lane and attempts to pass another driver on the left while they were turning left. The other driver makes sure he’s okay but he doesn’t want the driver to call the cops. He’s pleasing and begging as he knows he’s going to be arrested. The other driver still doesn’t know the biker was evading the law, if someone hit your car like this wouldn’t you insist on calling the police anyways or let him go since he says he will pay for your damages?
