This is an extremely important matter that concerns all of us. What you saw in the video is an Indian student who has gone to America with dreams and aspirations, but the reality is that he is being treated like a hardened criminal. He is being handcuffed, he is being beaten up, and he's being deported. For what? Because he went to America with some dreams in his eyes. And he is not the first Indian student to be treated like this. This has happened with multiple students where, in some context or the other, they are being manhandled, they are being booted out, and they are being deported out of the US. The backlog is increasing as far as Visa is concerned. Admissions are being denied. And not just that, 682 Indians were handcuffed. They were put in military planes and sent back to India. If anybody has broken any law to be in your country, there is a human way to behave with them. For countries like China and Nepal, America sends people in commercial flights. And our people were stuffed into a military aircraft, and you should have read and heard the ordeal. They could not defecate or urinate for multiple hours at a stretch, women and children alike. I think the presenter is on to something big, but where I disagree with her is that she accuses African leaders and gives a subtle pass to African citizens. It is not true that African citizens were oblivious to what Trump or Epstein are. They knew, but they simply did not have the ability to think critically that when Trump talks about LGBT issues, it is not necessarily that he does not support them, but that he understood there is a group of foolish people out there who would buy into that rhetoric without interrogating why he was deploying it. Some of Trump’s best friends, like Peter Mandelson, are gay, yet some Africans were foolish enough to believe that Trump is anti-gay. He simply understood how human beings operate, that there are times when people fail to think, a tragic failure to think, and they just go with the flow. If you ask Africans today what they gained from the perceived homophobia that Trump projected, which we know was political theatre targeted at a particular audience, they will not be able to tell you. Trump might be many things to many people. I do not like him and everybody knows that, but the one thing I respect him for is that he understands his audience. He knows what to say when he is talking to foolish people. He knows what to say when he is talking to idiotic people. He knows what to say when he is talking to sycophants. He knows what to say when he is talking to people who do not understand the world of politics, and he gets away with it. And for that, I give it to him. He becomes a political superstar precisely because you then have black people in Africa supporting him. That in itself shows you the scale of political illiteracy that exists, where people rally behind rhetoric crafted to manipulate them, not to advance their interests.

A local tv station did an investigative report on Epstein. The station interviewed a Florida lawyer of some of Epstein's earliest victims. This lawyer claims that he knows with 100% certainty that Epstein did, in fact, traffick young girls to high-profile people. The lawyer says that there is, in fact, a cover-up going on and that a lot of stuff is being hidden. Please watch and share. We must educate the public and demand justice for the victims!

Matt Damon participated in Howard Zinn's great "The People Speak" series, and read out a great speech by Zinn about the importance of civil disobedience, which is as apt today as when he first wrote it in 1970: "I start from the supposition that the world is topsy-turvy, that things are all wrong, that the wrong people are in jail, and the wrong people are out of jail. That the wrong people are in power, and the wrong people are out of power. I start from the supposition that all we have to do is think about the state of the world today, and realize that things are all upside down. If you don't think, if you listen to TV, read scholarly things, you actually begin to think that things are not so bad. Or that just little things are wrong. But you have to get a little detached, and then come back and look at the world, and you are horrified. So we have to start from that supposition—that things are really topsy-turvy. And our topic is topsy-turvy: civil disobedience. As soon as you say the topic is civil disobedience, you are saying our problem is civil disobedience. That is not our problem…. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is the numbers of people all over the world who have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. And our problem is that scene in All Quiet on the Western Front where the schoolboys march off dutifully in a line to war. Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world, in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem."

Steve Jobs on how to build a great brand After re-joining Apple in 1996, Steve Jobs announced the “Think different” campaign with the following statement: “To me, marketing is about values. What the king is doing is a betrayal of our solidarity with the Palestinian people. Doing arrogantly and blatantly like that is unbelievable, especially as somebody who comes from a struggle background. This man has a motorcycle that is apparently loud. This neighbor came over to complain about the noise and the man told him to get off his property. But, before the neighbor left, he flashes that he is carrying. 🤯 The police were called and he was arrested. Why would you do that? Is motorcycle noise really the hill you are going to plant your flag on? Willing to go to jail for that? Why not just call the police yourself and disturbing the peace? What is wrong with people these days?
