I still don’t see why we need to call a biological woman a cis woman. Saying someone is a trans woman or trans man is acknowledging what they’ve been through. Actually I’d like to know that some man I’m interested in is a trans man prior to me engaging in a relationship with them

They aren’t comparable.Transwomen are “denied” being called women because they’re men. Black women were denied being called women because black people in general were seen as subhuman. For black women, it was about dehumanization. For transwomen, it’s about acknowledging reality.
