Not too long ago, the police would've told the guy 'make sure this truck isn't here in the morning' and would've left him to figure it out.

This is exactly why I hate modern law enforcement. This is not what I grew up with and it was a better time then too.

I feel where this guy is coming from, I was just towed + ticketed $75 in front of my own house unlawfully. I went to dispute it and my hearing isn’t until fucking April, so now I get to sit on $400 worth of charges until they (maybe) reimburse me. I hate the city of Denver

People need to understand cops are never on your side. And a lot of times cops are working with towing companies to get some kickback off of them.

Imagine if they towed it to your house or local mechanic to get the problems fixed, and gave you a ride there as well. We could live in a better world. Money makes the government go round.

There was a time we dealt with horse thieves swiftly and without mercy. Maybe we need those days to return, huh?

Cops are not your fcuking friends, they're not there to help you, protect you, or respect your rights. They're TYRANTS & Revenue collectors for the state... never answer their questions, never unlock your doors "home / car" never roll down all windows, drivers only 2-3" max.

Remember when a tow truck driver legally towed a police man’s personal vehicle, and he was almost shot later on down the road and the police force arrested him and harassed him I remember, the cops act like it’s no big deal but when it happens to them they will try to hurt you.

It would be awesome if there were alternatives. I've seen sad things caused by the relationship between towing companies & police departments. An elderly widow I knew that worked nights had to quit her final job because when she came home from work, all spots were taken at her residence. The cops & tow truck driver worked hand in hand to bleed her dry when she parked wherever she could rather than address the people parked overnight illegally in her complexes parking spaces. It was sad and infuriating & gave the little police department a bad reputation. I think she's passed away since😔

I’ve been there before. Remember I had just finished a project truck my best friend and I had a dream of resorting. He passed 2 months before it was completed and I remember I just finished it and a drunk white lady and man smashed into it and mangled it. I was not even 150ft from his house and the police call the tow truck and costed me over $700 and I had no money left after pouring everything into it for my buddy…I had begged them just to push it with their bull bar bc I didn’t care about the paint but they insisted i crashed into them and took the truck away instead…I plead and sued and won but didn’t get shit out of it.

Now if he pulled a gun out and just said f it, we’d all understand

They don't work for the people, those ones with the badges, or the ones towing the vehicle... they work the state, and deserve a tyrants fate for their treason

These cities are using their police departments to generate revenue. It causes a police state, they start pulling you over for any little thing and sometimes making it up. People don’t want to go buy groceries because you have to go to town. It’s illegal in a republic!

The whole damn system is rigged against us. We are slaves. Until we realize there are a whole hell of a lot more of us than there are of them, this arrangement shall persist. And rightly so.

I don’t agree with all the profanity but he’s not lying. My apartment complex gives the tow guys the code for the gates and he scans all the cars plates at night and if they aren’t registered with the stupid app they get towed.
